| Ordering things from the Internet is not easy either with the complicated customs procedures and things getting 'lost' in the mail. JetsetGypsy is now able to source select items from around the world for Kiev residents. The JetsetGypsy Shopping Service allows customers to purchase gifts and life's little necessities from the comfort of your home. Discover the best of Internet shopping with an expert shopper who has an eye for unusual finds and years of experience in the online and offline retail market. How it works: You tell us what you want by sending us an email at store@jetsetgypsy.net. Try to include as much information as possible including your name and contact number. We then scour the Internet and get back to you with prices and delivery time within 48 hours. You then tell us if we should purchase it on your behalf or not. What items do we deliver : At present, we specialise in small and easily transportable items such as gifts, clothing, 'expat' food, jewelry, books, CDs, DVDs, shoes, health and personal care, and software. Larger items such furniture and appliances and perishables are not available at the present time. Each order however will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. What it costs : Once we find the required item, we will email you the price that includes the cost of the item and shipping charges to Kiev. Optional extras such as insurance (if available) will be communicated to you at the same time. Your order may be subject to customs and import duties. These will have to be paid by yourself. (Unfortunately, this charge cannot be estimated in advance.) We will pay customs duty when we collect the shipment and then charge you the same when you pick up the item. How to pay : 75% of the price has to be paid in advance through PAYPAL. Balance and customs duty (if any) to be paid when you pick up the item. What happens if your shipment doesn't arrive : We will refund your 75% advance payment through Paypal. What happens if the shipment is damaged : Although our suppliers take the utmost care, some minor damages do occur occasionally during shipping. For example, there may be slight dents in the external packaging of the item. Therefore each complaint will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Items with serious damage will be sent back for refund, however shipping charges need to be paid by youself. What happens if you change your mind about an order : Unfortunately, once you send us your email confirmation and advance payment, there's no going back. How do I collect my shipment : We will email you when your shipment arrives. You can pick it up from our office on Krasna Armiyskaya. |
