Danger in the workplace
Preventing the office affair
by Sonia Sebastian,

How long does your partner spend at work every day? 8 hours? 9
hours? 10 hours? Your partner spends more time with work colleagues
than he does with the family. Is it any surprise then that office
romances are so common?

Shirley Glass, author of the book “Not Just Friends: Rebuilding Trust
and Recovering Your Sanity After Infidelity” says, “This is the essence
of the new crisis: friendships, work relationships and Internet liaisons
have become the latest threat to marriages.” Corporate culture
demands complete dedication to the workplace which translates into
long hours at the office. “Today’s workplace has become the new
danger zone of romantic attraction and opportunity,” continues
Glass. While you may not be able to change his work schedule, there
are things you can do to prevent an affair.

Most men find themselves thinking about that colleague in
accounting or marketing when they have an emotional need that is
not met. While it may be easy to jump to the conclusion that that
need is sex, it is not always the case. Believe it or not, men do have
other needs!
