| BOOK REVIEW : STYLE A TO ZOE |

| With a client list that includes Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Zoe is easily one of Hollywood’s most powerful stylists. Fashion’s return to Studio 54 glamour, the revived interest in American designer Halston and the size 0 trend have all been credited to her. Glamour rules Zoe’s life and her book Style A to Zoe is crammed full of secrets to not just dressing glamorously but also living glamorously. It’s the perfect antidote for those of us who’ve given up glamour for comfort. Zoe argues the case for every day glamour with the statement, “A life of glamour and style makes everything that much more electrifying.” She encourages her readers to dream. While that may be taking things a little too far, I can’t argue with the previous comment. Sensible dressing does get a little boring after a while. Zoe is a self-confessed fashion fanatic. She loves vintage. Her closets are crammed full of vintage Halston. So it’s no wonder that her own brand of glamour is deeply rooted in the 70s. Drapey gowns, big glasses, long blonde hair and a deep dark tan form the basis of her look. Style A to Zoe gives readers advice on how to develop their own look for everyday as well as their own red carpet moments. It also has tips on : - glamorous entertaining - traveling like a jetsetter - living in style Overall rating : 3/5 |
